the reset method
Feel calmer in
minutes.
Touch first. Let your hands find something to hold, and your breath will follow. Amy takes it from there.

While you listen, hold whatever is near: a stone, your sleeve, the edge of the card that brought you here.
Why touch comes first
Most rest practices start with the breath or the mind. The Reset Method starts with your hands, because touch is the fastest way in.
- Touch anchors you. A texture under your fingers gives a busy mind one simple thing to hold, and focus on.
- Breath follows touch. Once your attention has landed, its easier to slow your breath. You sync the two: a slow trace, a long exhale.
- Rest opens up. When you sync the two, a slow trace and a long exhale, it quiets the nervous system and helps you access deeper states of relaxation and rest.
Your hands already know how to do this. The audio just walks beside them.
That was one.
